"Colt Mike" as the Bella likes to call him turned 5 months old on December 20th and in the madness of Christmas I did not get a chance to do a post on his "stats". So, here I am catching up on things.
I just love my sweet boy...I mean look at that face!
Colton you are such a good baby. You almost never fuss and are happy to just be apart of the crowd. You have the best smile and light up whenever anyone talks to you. I have a feeling you are going to be a talker like your Daddy! You are long a lean like your Pop! You are in the 70% for height but barely on the chart for weight...weighing in at 10lbs 2 oz. Since that is only 2 lbs more than your birth weight the doctors are a little concerned. Over the past few weeks we have been in for several weight checks and you are currently up to 11 lbs 3 oz. As of the last weight check we are now on a path to determine if you are having an "absorption" problem due to your surgery at birth. I am still fighting to nurse you but the doctors want you on this special formula...which you HATE!!!
You got a ton of "boy toys" for Christmas...I think you got 4 hammers total!
You wear a size 2 diaper and 3-6 months clothes. You need to wear 6 months for length but they will not stay on your waist, so sorry bud but your are wearing high waders!
You can roll over from back to tummy and tummy to back.
You are very close to sitting up on your own.
You can get up on your hands and knee's!!!!! Please don't crawl too soon, I like knowing where you are!!!
You are eating solids and LOVE it...avocado's, applesauce, and banana! (avocado mixed with applesauce is your favorite!)
I honestly think you would sleep till 11 am if I let you but you go to bed at 7:30 and sleep till I wake you at 8:00 am right now.(The main reason I wake him is so I can feed the little guy!)
