Well it has been almost 3 years since our last "poop" episode and I thought just maybe the Bug would eascape her "two's" without putting me through one.....BUT....no such luck for Mommy!

Last week during nap time the Bug decided it was her time to break Mommy in just a little more and haze her with a massive "poop" episode. Recently I have been allowing the Bug to sleep in big sis' bed. 1) because she thinks it is cool and therefore puts up less of a protest to nap time and 2) She can't get down from the top bunk and therefore has no other option but to nap! For weeks it has been a beautiful little gig.

Well, last Wednesday the Bug did not go right to sleep so I did what any good mother would do... I waited her out. I knew soon enough she would tucker out and give way to sleep. After an hour and a half I began to think maybe she just isn't going to nap today. Then in a blink of an eye there was full on hysterics. I threw down my laptop and dashed down the hallway, threw open the door and was immediately greeted with the stench of poo! My eyes quickly focused and found my two year old diaper-less and perfectly squatting on top of her sisters WHITE quilt doing her business!

There was poop everywhere...a pile on the quilt, the Bug was bathed in it, the bed had been rubbed down and even her lovies got covered! I was paralyzed and had no idea where to begin. I grab up the two year old and carry her at an arms length into the bathroom, yank back the shower curtain only to be greeted with a tub full of toys! I began throwing the toys into the hallway and plop Bug into the tub with no water. I return to the room to take in the damage...it was massive. I decide I need to clean the child first. I get her rinsed then set her on a towel and pull off the bedding...rinse the bedding and for the first time realize it is a good thing the quilt is white because I can BLEACH that sucker!!! I head to the washer with the bedding and put in the bleach.

I decide next I have to bleach the tub. I get the tub disinfected and then draw a proper bath for my shaking two year old on the bathroom floor. She is currently staring at me saying "I gross Mommy. I so gross!" I had to agree. At this point I declare it time to silence big sis who has been in the background crying "Bug ruined my bed.", "I have NO place to sleep!", "Why would she do that?"

Here's to hoping Colton does not follow in his sisters steps!
